why: released a video for "The Rake's Song" off of this year's release 'The Hazards of Love'. I'm not the biggest fan of the band, although I do like this album... but the video is pretty sweet.

who: The Flaming Lips | Say Anything (disappointment)
why: because The Flaming Lips just released 'Embryonic' which is sure to have at least one of TWENTY songs turn out to be catchy enough to get stuck in your domepiece.
also... Say Anything's new album 'Hate Everyone' was originally supposed to be released today... but their myspace now says it will be released on November 3rd. Laaaaame.
