why: in anticipation for this year's prequel album 'Year of the Black Rainbow', I've decided to propose the question over which era of Coheed people prefer... I can't help but love Claudio Sanchez... the dude's hair has more charisma than you, but this whole "I can't decide what genre i'm in mix of metal riffs and mythologically epic vocals" thing is getting a little bit old. Anyone else miss old Coheed besides me?

why: because I've been going overkill on the live videos recently... and the latest addition is from Andy Hull and his boys' performance last night on Jimmy Kimmel. Every track on 'Mean Everything to Nothing' approaches perfection, but "In My Teeth" was one of the few I have yet to see live and I'm glad they hardened it a little for the performance. Any thoughts on the new drummer, or how cracked out the keyboardist always looks? I love everything about this band.

PS: who wants to go see them with me March 23rd at the Metro in Chicago?!
