Premature Infatuation - Circa Survive

who: Circa Survive
why: because I just now got the November edition of Alternative Press
and am excited to see that they're reporting Circa Survive is currently in the studio working on a new LP. I'm little skeptical after reading the article, though because:

1) it's being recorded by Atlantic Records
2) produced by David Bottrill (Tool, Muse)
3) Anthony Green says, "I feel like I'm screaming more on this album - not Brokencyde screaming, but Led Zeppelin-style screaming. Some of the songs are really weird and non-traditionally structured. They're just movements without repeating parts, without a chorus or a verse... some very straightforward, old-school rock 'n' roll."

so it's clear that they're trying to achieve a different un-Circa Survivish sound, that I'm not sure they'll pull off.

As of now the album is untitled and there is no definitive release date - just slated for sometime next year. Be on the look out!

I had no idea these were being filmed until now, but you can go to circasurvive.com to view their TEN studio updates. Here's the latest:
