NEW! Thursday Night Fights - March 4, 2010

I'm liking these weekly things I've been trying to do lately... keeps me up on my shit, so here's a chance for you to settle the debate I've been having with friends and myself lately...

Last year's debut from Freelance Whales ('Weathervanes') is being rivaled in terms of incredible musicianship, performance and style by this year's debut from Local Natives ('Gorilla Manor')... and it's pretty hard for me to choose a favorite. Who would you take?

    as much as i like the extended version of generator ^ second floor, i have to give it to local natives. i don't think i've ever seen a band perform on a carousel. local natives ftw.
